Job Description

Our client is based in Evesham. Refrigerated vehicles carrying out 1-2 drops per day, no handball, clean work. On-going work, Shift Mon - Sunday, five/six days a week if required or the odd shift here and there. Start times between 0600 - 2300 days, nights and tramping available. Average shift around 12 hours.

Umbrella Rates Between £16.50 - £19.50 Depending on shift

PAYE Rates Between £15.50 - £18.50 (inc of holiday pay)

Day to Day duties will include the following:

* Driving a cat C E HGV to customers across England
* Completing delivery paperwork
* Ensuring that all deliveries are completed on time and in full
* Building good relationships with customers
* Completing daily vehicle checks

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

* Licenced to drive a Cat C E HGV (Essential)
* Possess a valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (Essential)
* No more than 6 penalty points (Essential)
* No history of DR10
* Able to work on own initiative (Essential)
* Numerate & Literate (Essential)
* Must be flexible in approach to working hours as start times may vary (Essential)

HGV Class 1 Drivers required for our client based in Droitwich, working for a large blue chip company that delivers refrigerated goods to RDC's and NDC's across the whole of the UK. Work shifts available- between 1300pm - 0400am starts.

Job title: Transport Account Manager

Location: Worcester

Salary: £20,000 - £23,000 negotiable depending on experience, plus commission

Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30am – 5:30pm, Fri 8:30am – 5pm

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • To liaise with the client daily to understand their needs and plan your day accordingly.
  • Contribute to the morning meetings daily to feedback the requirements of your client
  • To attend regular service review meetings with your clients to understand any areas for improvement in the service delivery
  • Write and place professional and effective job advertisements to attract candidates.
  • Use marketing tools to source candidates
  • Source, develop and manage candidate relationships within chosen competency.
  • Qualify candidate suitability for current or future vacancies/clients, through questioning and referencing.
  • Always maintain and develop current client relationships to ensure that they receive the best service possible and to maximize business opportunities
  • Work with colleagues to ensure we capitalize on every opportunity to generate revenue is achieved
  • Be able to use in-house IT system to generate candidates
  • Manage recruitment process from start to finish with both client and candidate
  • Deal with client/candidate queries and take ownership of objection handling
  • Manage placed candidates contracts and maintain client relationships with active contractors and placements.

Administrative & General

  • Ensure records are kept in line with, and adhere to, the recruitment legislation
  • Keep all paperwork/system work up-to date regarding candidate's eligibility to work

General Intelligence: 

Able to learn quickly, good working knowledge of production, driving and warehousing facilities would prove advantageous. Able to deal effectively at all levels, enjoy contact with people and be able to work under pressure. It is assumed that the suitable applicant will be used to working in a similar culture liaising between the Owner/Manager & other key figures within the business.
